即使我們每天都使用音響，我們?nèi)匀徊荒苷f(shuō)我們100%了解這個(gè)能發(fā)出聲音東西。除了復(fù)雜的內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)，只是音箱的材質(zhì)值得研究。目前，我們使用的音箱90%以上都是木箱。中低端產(chǎn)品一般采用密度板作為箱體材料，高品質(zhì)產(chǎn)品一般采用實(shí)木材料。由于密度、硬度等參數(shù)的不同，不同材料的聲反饋效果也不同。

石頭喇叭聽(tīng)起來(lái)有點(diǎn)恐怖嗎?但事實(shí)上，也有以石頭為盒子的音箱。很多DIY音箱玩家也喜歡用大理石打磨盒子。石頭在壓制共振方面有一定的優(yōu)勢(shì)。使用石材作為音箱更是玩家經(jīng)常的選擇，對(duì)于商業(yè)企業(yè)來(lái)說(shuō)，木質(zhì)和塑料都比較適合。
